About the project:
“We want you to devise and film an ad that conveys the intense brilliance of Blu-Tack®; an ad that wlll go down in the annals of advertising as ‘really not at all bad’.

The winning ad will appear in Blu-Tack’s® 2010 campaign and the winner will receive £2,000-worth of computer equipment/software of their choice, with five runner-up prizes of £200-worth of computer equipment or software. We’ll show some of the best entries on the Blu-Tack® website.”

Tilt Shift Video

This might make an interesting theme for viral video. This idea of tilt shift video comes from a photographic technique with 5×4 cameras where you can alter the depth of field by changing the angle of the back plate. There are various techniques to achieve this result with video. here are some examples:

For all location shoots it is essential that you fill out a risk assessment form and consider carefully all hazards both to the actors and crew but also the general public.The latest version of the AUCB risk assessment document for location shooting as used by the Film course will be available soon.

The new iPhone has been causing a stir for a while now but here are a few new applications that show how our conceptions of interactivity and human computer interaction are going to be seriously challenged in the next few months.

This technology was first shown on Jeff Han’s Multitouch Screen a couple of years ago but now it is a reality.
