“We want you to devise and film an ad that conveys the intense brilliance of Blu-Tack®; an ad that wlll go down in the annals of advertising as ‘really not at all bad’.
The winning ad will appear in Blu-Tack’s® 2010 campaign and the winner will receive £2,000-worth of computer equipment/software of their choice, with five runner-up prizes of £200-worth of computer equipment or software. We’ll show some of the best entries on the Blu-Tack® website.”

This idea of tilt shift video comes from a photographic technique with 5×4 cameras where you can alter the depth of field by changing the angle of the back plate. There are various techniques to achieve this result with video. here are some examples:

Here is another example Jonathan Joly sent me to by CNN to encourage people to vote in the US elections.

Here is the latest video from Improv Everywhere - the ‘Human Mirror’ yet again another great idea for a performance piece using the web and in particular youtube to spread the message virally.

This probably their most famous video. T-Mobile used the idea for their own TV AD campaign.

This was one of the first viral videos that suddenly made companies realise the power of youtube.

This is probably the most watched video on youtube of all time and is still going strong.
